Fast Rates is designed to respect your privacy completely. It does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information — there are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
None. The app does not ask for, gather, or transmit any personal data. There are no servers that receive information about you, and you cannot be identified.
The app saves a small amount of data locally on your device only, so it works the way you expect: your chosen currencies and their order, your base currency and last-entered amount, and a cached copy of the most recent exchange rates so the app works offline. This information never leaves your device and is removed if you delete the app.
To show current rates, the app fetches publicly available exchange-rate and precious-metal price data from Exchange Rate API (exchangerate-api.com) and gold-api.com. These requests retrieve pricing data only. They include no personal information about you beyond the standard technical details inherent to any internet request, such as your IP address, which those providers may process under their own policies. The app sends no identifiers, no account data, and no usage information.
The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt, and performs no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
